List the 1-3 truly consequential choices hidden in their idea (fewer is better).
For each: the options in a few words + your gut recommendation.
Classics: one-off vs repeated later, few lines vs proper module, biggest thing
it could break. Skip anything minor. Then stop and wait for their answers.
