Shopify Polaris Admin Extensions

Add custom actions and blocks from your app at contextually relevant spots throughout the Shopify Admin, including **App Home UI extensions** — the Shopify-hosted `admin.app.home.render` target (API version `2026-07` or later) that renders your app's landing page instead of an iframe. Covers the Intents API (`shopify.intents.invoke`) for launching native workflows from an extension. Admin UI Extensions also supports scaffolding new admin extensions using Shopify CLI commands.
